AFC Wildcard: New York Jets @ Indianapolis Colts Jan. 8th 2011 8pm EST

The New York Jets have had quite an interesting season this year as they came into the season with Super Bowl aspirations and all the confidence in the world led by controversial head coach Rex Ryan, but even though they have played extremely well at times this year, the Jets have struggled at times and will have to continue to prove their worth in the playoffs.

Even though the Jets were unable to win the AFC East division title and were hoping they might have locked up a higher seed in the AFC Conference, they will have one motivating factor coming into Wildcard weekend as they will have a chance to get some revenge against the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last season in the Indianapolis Colts.

Despite not being favored in NFL picks in this matchup as the Indianapolis Colts will come into this game as -3 point favorites, the New York Jets are as confident as ever that they can come out on top in this playoff game with some hard-nosed defense.

It will be a tough challenge to take down arguably one of the best quarterbacks of all-time in Peyton Manning, but I believe they can and will pull it off.
